PAST: EXHIBIT: Extended one week - NOV 17th! "John & Yoko: A New York Love Story" Photo Show at Govinda Gallery

Last Chance to see some of the Last Photos ever taken of John Lennon.

This show has been extended through the 17th! I was there last week and was really blown away by these photos. Come see some of the most intimate and exquisite photos of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, taken by famed photojournalist Allan Tannenbaum in November 1980, around the time of Lennon's death. Chris Murray, who has owned the Govinda Gallery for 32 years, comes full circle with this exhibit and the accompanying book, also called "John and Yoko: A New York Love Story" which is also available for purchase at the gallery. The photo exhibit is free to view of course, but hurry! The exhibit is is on display through November 17th.

The gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday 11:00am - 6:00pm and is located on 34th St in Georgetown at 1227 34th St, NW. You can take the Circulator (red bus) to the intersection of M and Wisconsin and walk over to 34th or any of the number 30 buses if you don't want to deal with looking for, or paying for, parking in Georgetown. Street parking may also be available in the neighborhood.
