This is some of the most amazing art I’ve ever seen! The scale and detail of Irving Norman's work just blow me away and I’m planning to go to this talk for sure. If you are free this Saturday at 4:00, I encourage you to check it out. See prior post with pic for complete details about the exhibit, hours and directions to the Katzen.I was impressed to see that the City Paper featured this exhibit as the critic’s pick this week with a fairly lengthy write up and a picture, but somehow they failed to mention the Gallery talk this Saturday. I am glad that they mentioned the show and that I’ve got this blog to let you all know about it!
Also note that the “Fernando Botero: Abu Ghraib” exhibit is on display at the Katzen on the floor above this exhibit and worth looking at as well.
