Learn about NVC with an evening of "Conflict Improv" on Tuesday, December 18th from 7:00pm - 8:45pm, at the Cleveland Park Library, 2 blocks from Cleveland Park Metro at 3310 Connecticut Avenue, NW. Conflict Improv is inspired by the teachings of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg on Non-Violent Communication, or NVC. No prior NVC experience necessary, just an open mind and a willingness to learn and have some fun! This evening will be facilitated by Mark Thomas and Iness F. Love, NVC enthusiasts and supporters. You can read more about NVC at www.capitolnvc.org

Please RSVP by email to Inessa at dcnvc@hotmail.com or call Mark at 301-801-1293.

Quote from invite: "If you want to decrease your anger or despair and want to increase your joy, compassion and wisdom, please come and play with us. We anticipate this will be a fun evening in which learning, laughter and community will help us to come together and celebrate our shared humanity. Join us for an improvisational evening with Jackal and Giraffe (puppets) and human actors which will role-play our real-life situations. BYOC - Bring your own conflicts -small, medium or large - so we can experiment with different ways of approaching difficult situations. We find conflicts endlessly instructive, heart-breaking, and amusing, and we are confident you will too."
