PAST: REMINDER: thru JAN 27th, Irving Norman's "Dark Metropolis" at American University's Katzen Center, Free

Don't miss your chance to see one of the best shows in DC, Irving Norman's "Dark Metropolis" at American University's Katzen Art Center. The show leaves after January 27th so you have just a few weekends left to check it out! Be prepared to spend some time there as there are a lot of great details in this work. The pieces are huge and pretty mind blowing. Thanks to Jack Rasmussen and AU for bringing such cool and cutting edge work to DC! You can also check out "Claiming Spaces" a show featuring women's art, on the first floor when you are there.

Hours: Tues -Sun 11:00am - 4:00pm. Admission is free. Best to drive, but you can also get there by bus from Mass Ave in Dupont Circle, I believe the M4, or you can metro to Tenlyetown and take the free AU shuttle bus which runs every 15 minutes or so, just tell the driver to let you out at the Katzen Center, at the intersection of Nebraska and Mass Ave. For more details on the show, see: http://www.american.edu/cas/katzen/museum/2007nov_norman.cfm
