PAST: POETRY: WED JAN 9th, "Nine of the Ninth" Poetry Reading at Busboys and Poets, 9:00pm, Free

Tonight's monthly "Nine on the Ninth" Poetry Event features Monica McIntyre, a gifted and impassioned lyricist, vocalist, and cellist. She combines: metaphor, bass lines, word-play, strummed chords, and powerful vocals to convey stories, emotions, and truth to her audience. Inspired by the need to express her personal stories as well as those of the people in her life and the world; she gives voice to tragedy, beauty, strength, healing, love, and loss.

Don't forget to stick around for the Blueprint Sessions where we take a page from Inside The Actor's Studio. As usual the feature will go first followed by an in depth interview, where the audience gets to find out a little more about the artist; their artistic process, influences, favorite word, least favorite word, and little tidbits you may not know. Plus, to make it more interactive, the audience gets to participate in Q&A too.

Open Mic will follow the feature and interview List will be limited to 10 slots.
