PAST: Poetry & Jazz! Po'Jazz on FRI, April 25th, 7:00pm, Free! Poetry Workshop on SAT, April 26th 10:30am-3:00pm, Suggested $20, $15 students

FRIDAY night, April 25th at The Potter's House!

Jazz and Poetry with Golda Solomon and friends, Po'Jazz!

Po'Jazz is an innovative partnership of poetry and jazz created by Golda Solomon, who has combined her two passions to create an energetic program featuring established and emerging poets sharing the stage with a small group of jazz musicians, blending the spoken word and improvised instrumentation. http://www.jazzjaunts.com/

The evening will also feature Saco Yasuma on sax and Christopher Dean Sullivan on bass. Donations will benefit Miriam's Kitchen, http://www.miriamskitchen.org/, and every dollar will be doubled! And as a special feature, social worker Nathan Holst will open the evening with some of his original tunes.

There will also be a Po'Jazz WORKSHOP on SATURDAY, April 26th from 10:30am - 3:00pm, at Potter's House

If you are a writer, we also encourage you to come back on SATURDAY for a workshop with Golda! You'll learn the process of writing "From Page to Performance" with an opportunity to work with the jazz musicians! $20/$15 students
