The American Pictures Distinguished Lecture Series offers a highly original approach to art and portraiture. This new series pairs great works of art with leading figures of contemporary American culture. The series director of American Pictures is Adam Goodheart, director of the C.V. Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience at Washington College.
