Classical Guitarist Francesc de Paula Soler performs a free lunchtime concert at the Library of Congress this Wednesday.

Guitarist Francesc de Paula Soler performs classical guitar works in a program sponsored by the Hispanic Division. Soler is the scion of a well-known Spanish artistic family. He began studying guitar at the age of 11 and later trained at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Barcelona, Spain. He continued postgraduate studies with Andres Segovia and Narciso Yepes. He performs and lectures around the world and has been featured on television and radio programs in Europe and in the United States.
