PLEASE NOTE: This was posted in error. I got the information from another website which had said that this was free concert. I usually catch such errors and fact check everything but I have been getting over a really bad infection so I was just copy pasting this one . My apologies for any confusion. Thanks for bringing this to my attention Jen.
FYI: The Kennedy Center does offer same day half price tickets to students with ID so you could get a seat for as low as $10 potentially. Just go to the box office before the show and if they have extra seats still available. I recommend arriving one hour or more before the show. If they offer you a chance to sit in the chorister seats, which are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, I recommend trying that as well. I prefer those seats over the nosebleed ones in the top tier. It's quite the view, though the sound isn't as good, it's a great way to see the show if you ask me.
