"First Person: Recent Palestinian Art" by guest curator Mary Evangelista

This exhibition will offer a first-person account of one curator's venture into Palestinian contemporary art through a selection of painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and video works. Artists include Hani Zurob, Taysir Batniji, Said Abu Shakra, Farid Abu Shakra, Samir Salameh (featured in picture), Nabil Ananni, Samia Halaby, Ahmad Canann, and Shadi al Habib. The exhibit will be on display at the Jerusalem Fund Gallery from 30 January - 27 March 2009. Gallery hours: M - F, 9:00am-5:00pm or by appointment.
