Book Talk this Wednesday, January 28th
At Politics & Prose at 7:00pm, Free
Azar Nafisi, The extraordinary Iranian American, will present "Things I've Been Silent About," a memoir which lies at the intersection between personal and political. Nafisi’s father was a mayor of Tehran; after he was jailed, her mother served in Parliament, but their marriage was an unhappy one. This is an effort by Nafisi to reflect on how she became who she is. (For the New York Times review, click here.
