PAST: Bella Salon in Bethesda hosts "Cut it for a Cause" for Locks of Love all week long, Feb 7-14

Looking for a good reason for a haircut... look no further!

From February 7-14, 2009 Bella Bethesda will once again host the annual campaign to help the worthy non-profit, Locks of Love. The week-long event will kick-off on Saturday, February 7 with a party that will include free treatments and special deals on products. Throughout the week, individuals who donate 10 or more inches of hair will receive a free hair cut, blow dry and a complimentary beauty makeover. For those interested in donating but who do not have 10 inches yet, Bella will offer a pledge board, so individuals can redeem their free makeover and donate their hair later in the year.

Last February, Bella Bethesda Salon hosted the “Cut It for a Cause” campaign to benefit Locks of Love, a non-profit organization which provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18 with medical hair loss due to disease, burns, and cancer. Because of the great response from the community Bella was able to donate a total of 640 inches of hair to Locks of Love which helped over 2,000 children across the country.
