1:00pm Jabari Asim, formerly with the Washington Post, is now editor of the NAACP's Crisis magazine and has written on WHAT OBAMA MEANS. He contends that Obama has set the old civil rights model of African American leadership on its head.
5:00pm The Washington Post education reporter Jay Mathews has written about the Knowledge is Power program designed to help low-income children succeed in school. The book, called WORK HARD BE NICE shows how much inspired educators can affect the progress of youngsters.
Monday, February 9th
