Art Galleries Open Late in Dupont Circle
First Fridays in Dupont this Friday, May 1st
6:00pm - 8:00pm, Free
My suggestion is to start at WPA on Mass Ave between 20th & 21st to pick up a map of the area's galleries. They are a part of the First Fridays as well and will be having an artist talk tonight. They also happen to have this great recycled cardboard furniture which is functional, eco-friendly and great for small spaces (though not on sale, I do think it is super cool to check out). Most of the galleries in Dupont are clustered around 21st & R and along Connecticut Ave. There is a brief description here.
