From May 29th: I just got back from the media sneak peek and boy do my feet hurt after walking around on the concrete floors in what I consider comfy heels. I was trying to scope out the space before everyone arrived for the opening party tonight! Great views of the city from the upper floors with the all glass walls, I was pretty impressed.
More info: For a full list of over 1,000 artists exhibiting on 8 floors of a space, click here. For a calendar of events, bands and performances here. Metro: Artomatic is right above the Navy Yard Metro on the Green line, exit at Half St. and turn right it's just around the corner.
"Shout Out!" to my artist friends showing their work!

also "British Ink"... I heard this buzzing noise and was like... what? When I poked inside of what looks like a blue phone booth there was a whole tattoo shop set up with someone getting a tattoo along with the three people who work there! If you are feeling inspired from checking out all of the art, you can even set an appointment and get a tattoo on site.
