Nine On The Ninth, the now legendary monthly poetry series that falls on every 9th day of the month at 9:00pm, will feature Jenny C. Lares on June 9th. Jenny was made in the Philippines, raised in MD, ran away to Ohio, and is now happy to be back in the DC/MD area. Open mic to follow the feature. Hosted by Poet in Residence, Derrick Weston Brown. If you want to go, please arrive early to purchase a wristband, which is required for entry as space is limited. Wristbands will be sold in the bookstore from 10:00am on, until sold out. Limit of 4 per person. Note: Cash only, $4 each.
