Celebrate BASTILLE DAY by dining and shopping in Adams Morgan on a Tuesday. You can eat and act "French" at La Fourchette, Bardia's New Orleans Cafe, Left Bank, or Soussi.
From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, "The National Capital Club de Pétanque” will be there to do a French Pétanque demonstration (similar to Bocce Ball). All are welcome to join teams and play.
From 6:00 to 8:00 pm all ages will enjoy live the French and world music of “Kamel Zennia Band” .
At 8:00pm, don't miss L'Enfant Cafe's (2000 18th St. NW) famous French Maid Relay Race w/ hosts King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, and free cake, music, food & drink specials, and door prizes. Napoleon Bistro (1847 Columbia Rd NW) offers free champagne to anyone dressed in red, white, and blue.
