Free Music! Art Unplugged: with James Terrell at The Library, 3514 12th St, NE Tuesday, August 4th, 6:00 pm

The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities presents Art Unplugged, a new summer performance series that showcases the talent of local artists at locations throughout the four quadrants of Washington, DC. The series spans from June 15, 2009 through August 14, 2009 and is hosted by 32-year-old Washington native W. Ellington Felton. District of Columbia based performing artists–actors, singers, dancers, visual artists, musicians and poets are provided with a platform to showcase their talents in while audiences have the opportunity to experience quality arts programming in nontraditional spaces. James Terrell has performed at the Undergrond Lounge in New York, RookWood in New York City, CBGB lounge, Cabin Fever, and various venues. He has played at the Bar-Nun in Washington DC and at Pharoahs Blues in DC. His style is a fusion of Blues, Rock, Folk, and Soul.
