Hungry For Music is a grassroots volunteer-driven 501 (c)(3) charity organization whose mission is to inspire underprivileged children (and others) by bringing positive musical and creative experiences into their lives. Since becoming a non-profit in 1994, Hungry for Music has brought the healing quality of music to thousands of people through its musical instrument donations, concerts, and workshops. The agency's goal for 2009 is to distribute 365 musical instruments to individual children in need, school programs, and after-school community centers. In 2008 384 instruments were donated.
The show starts at 7pm at The Potter's House. Dinner and delectable, homemade desserts are available -- and so is off-street parking. Sounds of Hope is an intimate concert space -- come enjoy the sounds and the hope! View the full invite on facebook here.
