OF NOTE: WELCOME: I Love Coffeeshops! Mid City Caffe is now open on 14th St!

More Coffee Shop Culture has come to town! Mid City Caffe on 14th St (between Q and R, above Miss Pixies) is now open. This new spot is really cute. I'm here now actually writing this post and the place is already packed on it's first day of business. Some pluses to note: My favorite, counter culture espresso, cinnamon raisin brioche by the slice, nutella and peanut butter available for just 50 cents! (most places just serve butter or cream cheese, which I am not a fan of). Double espresso is their small size for $2.48 with tax and it is really good. They also offer French press coffee and single cup made to order drip coffee. They also have outdoor seating outside of Pixies on the street. Inside they have cute cushioned benches and old school furniture, two rooms, and a window bar, feels a bit like Brooklyn to me. Oh, and of course, free wi-fi! I'll definitely be coming back. P.S. I just realize that caffeine has two f's like caffe and latte (which has two t's) and is the Italian for coffee, where cafe which has one f is like cafeteria.
