PAST: PLAY: Pay-What-You-Can Performances of The Winter's Tale this THURS, FRI & SAT Sept 17th - 19th, 8:00pm

Wandering Souls, a new Arts Outreach Company in DC hosts 3 Public Pay-What-You-Can Performances of their 90 minute version of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale this Thursday, Friday and Saturday September 17th - 19th at 8:00pm at Bethesda Theatre. Seating is first come first served so please arrive early to ensure seating.

This first performance for this new company features 7 actors covering 20+ tracks...live music...and a story filled with jealousy, love, forgiveness, shepherds, clowns, a pickpocket, numerous disguises and more.
In The Winter’s Tale, Shakespeare blends tragedy and comedy: one best friend suspects the other of having an affair with his wife, which leads him down a dangerous and, eventually, catastrophic path. The second half of the play brings the two friends back together by the most unusual and unlikely circumstances.

Wandering Souls mission is to create high quality, low budget, professional performances and tour them in DC to places where there is generally little or no access to the arts. The Winter’s Tale will tour to venues around the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area including homeless shelters, halfway houses and community organizations.
