Maryland Renaissance Festival Aug. 29 - Oct. 25, 2009. Crownsville, MD. A 16th century English village with crafts, food, live performances, games and lots more.

National Hispanic Heritage Month Sept. 15-Oct. 15. Various events celebrate the culture and traditions of Spanish speaking residents who trace their roots to Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

  1. Thanks for including charity walks in your list of things to do in DC. It is a great way to support important causes. I just participated in the DC Arthritis Walk this past Saturday and had a wonderful time.
