The Fun House at Hamiltonian Gallery
A Dance Performance by Bettmann Dances
Thursday, October 29th
7:00pm, $5 admission at the door
The Fun House is a contemporary dance piece set in the unique confines of the gallery space. The performance is made up of six dancer "stations" dotted throughout the gallery and lit by floor lamps. Set to classical scores, contemporary music and recorded speeches, the "stations" act as nonlinear vignettes to express the complex themes of discrimination, empowerment and Faustian dilemmas. Rachel Merga will be reprising her role from All Good Men in this production of The Fun House, and will be joined by Emily Horton, Marisha Bourgeois, Vernon Gooden, and Robert Bettmann.
