The opening reception on Thursday will feature Govinda Gallery owner Chris Murray talking about the history and evolution of the Georgetown art scene - drawn from his 34 years as a central presence in the ever-changing Georgetown art world. Talk begins at 7:00pm.
The talent of Georgetown resident artists will be on view for the first time under one roof at the former Smith and Hawken space at 1209 31st St for three days this week. The Citizens Association of Georgetown is hosting this unique show of more than 25 Georgetown artists. While some works will be just for display, many will be for sale. CAG's Georgetown ARTS 2009 will also be highlighted in the new Gallery Gaze that takes place on Friday evenings. Complete info on CAG's website here!
