November's GPI will be hosted by my friend, Mo Alem, who will be filling in for the fabulous Laurie Blair. You are invited to listen and to share - the mic will be wide open! This month's feature will be Leah Harris, one of the co-founders of GPI who has recently released a debut
spoken word album entitled "Take Refuge" which you can check out on myspace here! Leah's poetry has been featured in publications including Word Warriors: 35 Women Leaders in the Spoken Word Revolution (Seal Press, 2007), DC Poets against the War: An Anthology, Off Our Backs: A Feminist Newsjournal, Street Spirit, Mizna, and on Adbusters.org.
