This annual outdoor Holiday Market is one of my favorite places to shop for unique gifts for others as well as great things for yourself. Last year I got one of my favorite hats here, and I really enjoy this European Market vibe. There are hundreds of diverse gift items, such as jewelry, pottery, paintings, and textiles and you usually get to talk to the artists directly, which creates a sense of connection and adds to the good vibes feeling you get when you buy something as well.. I enjoy the live music and walking through the market with a nice hot beverage and some sweet candied nuts. I definitely suggest that you stop by this market before hitting the malls and chain stores for you last minute holiday shopping. These guys are out there selling their wares in the cold and many of them are local artists. Even if you don't have a lot to spend, you can usually find a really great gift item here and it's just across the street from the Gallery Place- Chinatown Metro 7th & F St Arena exit.
