This week at the Millennium Stage

All concerts are Free and begin at 6:00pm

Monday, December 14th

Merry TubaChristmas!

Due to the large number of tubas, there will be no chair seating for this performance. Audience members should come prepared to stand or sit on the floor. This year marks the 36th anniversary of this holiday tradition in which tuba, sousaphone, and euphonium players from around D.C. play traditional Christmas music led by Harvey Phillips.

Tuesday, December 15th

Pirai Vaca

The Bolivian guitarist has won competitions all around the world. Presented in cooperation with the Embassy of Bolivia.

Wednesday, December 16th

Encore Chorale

Musicians over the age of 55 perform crowd-pleasing holiday music.

Thursday, December 17th

Gospel Celebration: The Sweet Heaven Kings

The 16-member gospel brass and percussion ensemble creates a joyful holiday program with its unique instrumentation and powerful voices.

If you can't get there in person: You can STREAM it LIVE for Free on the Kennedy-Center website and you can also search through their wonderful archives to view past performances. The screen is kind of small but it is really a wonderful thing to be able to watch the show from your computer live if you can’t get there in person!
