Monday, February 22nd
6:30pm - 8:30pm
in Georgetown at Letelier Theater
The Trinity Forum invites you to join us for a film screening and conversation with Jody Hassett Sanchez, Trinity Forum Senior Fellow and director and producer of SOLD.
About the Film: Can one person make a difference when it comes to to ending slavery today? In SOLD: Fighting the New Global Slave Trade, look inside the lives of three modern-day abolitionists daring to take on the problem of slavery in their own countries as they draw on their Muslim, Hindu, and Christian faiths to fight one of the world’s most horrendous injustices: human bondage.
Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Details about the event and more info about the film can be found here. If you enjoy going out to Film events, you can check out the Washington Film MeetUp Group here.
