Please Note: You will need to ask for a "Permanent Collection" if you want a donation based entry (they give you a ticket and you can donate money by the door). If you don't specifically request this, they will most likely ask you to pay the full $12 admission, which will includes entry to the special exhibit on the third floor. Certain special events related to the special exhibit may require a full price ticket and you can ask about that if you go as those things vary each month.
Other things to know about the Phillips:
The Phillips is open until 8:30pm every Thursday night! On the first Thursday of the month they host the After Five events. Admission is donation based on Thursday eves and during the day Tuesday - Friday! Just remember to tell them you want to see the "Permanent Collection" as they will likely request you to pay the full admission which includes the special exhibit on the third floor.
Visitors under 18 are always free and students and visitors 62 and over pay discounted fees. On Sundays at 4:00pm there is live musical performance, usually classical, included in the admission price of $12. You can view the music schedule here!
