Join my friend Graciela Lopez as she explores mestizaje through dance, storytelling, and poetry in her final performance in Washington DC. You can learn more on her website, Peaceful Chicana.

Dance styles will include Danza Axteca, Mexican traditional Baile Folkolorico (Los Tapatios), Flamenco and Graciela's non traditional improvisational belly dance. See her perform her senior capstone project for her studies at AU, after graduation she plans to travel through the SW US and take the show on the road.

Can't make it this Friday? Graciela will perform this piece again on May 7th at 5:30pm at American University 4400 Massachusetts Ave NW Kay Spiritual Life Center.
