To celebrate the opening of the new exhibit, Discovering the Civil War, the National Archives is pleased to present The Federal City Brass Band in a series of short outdoor concerts. The Federal City Brass Band accurately recreates the sound and appearance of a Union Army regimental brass band of the 1860s using authentic 19th-century instruments and period musical arrangements. Each concert will begin on the hour, every hour between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
