The ten-piece Brad Linde Ensemble, featuring vocalist Lena Seikaly, performs a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald on her birthday from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Earilier on in the day there will be special family activities include children’s storybook readings at 12:30 and 1:30pm and a hands-on art project from 11:30am– 3:00pm, located in the Portrait Gallery's Education Center. Take a special curator-led “Jazz Tour” at 2:00pm. This program is produced by the American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in conjunction with Jazz Appreciation Month.
