Just got this info from a friend who is a big fan of Elevation Burger, a local eco-conscious business based in VA that cooks their french fries in olive oil and uses only USDA-certified organic, grass-fed, free-range beef.
It looks like you'll need to click through their facebook page and print out the online coupon and find your way to the National Harbor in MD, just across the bridge from Alexandria, VA, between 11:00am and Noon today.
Though all of their locations are in car required areas (I hear they are looking to open one in DC) I am a big fan of supporting local and eco-conscious companies (these guys donate waste olive oil for conversion into bio-diesel, recycle store waste and use high-post-consumer content paper products) and those that use organic products so I figured I'd give them a shout out for their free burger day!
