This Forum will feature a conversation with two artists from the "Art in Crisis" show, Favianna Rodriguez, who Utne Magazine has called one of the 50 visionaries changing your world, and local artist and activist Cesar Maxit. The forum will be hosted by Dave Zirin and is free of charge, donations welcome. This event is held in collaboration with "Art in Crisis" which will be held Thursday, June 3rd, featuring art by Decoy, Rvltn, Favianna Rodriguez, Owel, Whys, Strike, and Civil51.

The Rivera project is a new non-profit dedicated to the fusion of art and social justice and founded in the belief that revolutionary art is central to social transformation. DC51 is an artist collective that grew out of the love for art, urban life, and the people. You can learn more about some of the artists involved here.
