Youth members of the S.T.E.P. Up DC Campaign (Success Through Educational Progress) will march through the streets to call attention to declining graduation rates within DC public high schools.

Five-Nineteen: The March for Graduation and Better Education will originate at Cardozo Senior High School and end at Howard University, symbolizing the transition from high school to college and the successful careers that the students desire. The march will emphasize the need for more student resources and support services and will mark the launch of S.T.E.P. Up DC’s youth-led campaign for student resource centers in DC high schools.
