Hear the DC Team Perform before heading off to compete in The Southern Fried Poetry Slam, the second largest poetry convention in the country, which will take place from June 2nd-5th in Knoxville, TN.

The DC Team performing this Saturday includes the talented: Chris August, Chris Wilson, Natalie E. Illum, and Gowri K. Yay! It's a great team and it's Gowri's first slam competition so I am extra happy for her! They will each perform individual pieces and also group pieces they'll be using in competition. Additional Team Member Sonya Renee will not be performing at this event, but she will be at the team's May 28th feature.
