Busboys & Poets in collaboration with Words Beats & Life will host a partnership kick-off fundraiser this Wednesday. WBL is a local Hip-Hop Non-Profit in DC. Though the event is free to attend, guests will be encouraged to participate in a silent auction of a number of pieces of artwork, and to make donations as they are able. There will also be hands on DJ’ing, B-Boying, MC’ing and Graffiti workshops for guests to participate in the kind of learning experience created every day by WBL's educators. The goal is to recruit new champions, friends and supporters of the work that the organization does at this event.
