"Art Salon is a monthly convergence of the creative community in the District, and June gives rise to the 32 recipients of the 2010 Young Artist Grant Program. Hosted near the growing H Street Corridor, this event is a collaborative evening between Conner Contemporary Art and Industry Gallery. This month celebrates DC's thriving artistic community with young emerging artists including Alex Clarke, Christylez Bacon, Tommy Bobo. Liz DeRoche, Mark Perkins, Jes Therkelson, Graciela Lopez, Sia Tiambi Barnes, Lisa Marie Thalhammer, Mary Coble and many others."
