DC based contemporary dance company Dana Tai Soon Burgess & Company will be performing a free dance performance this Friday evening at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival's Asian Fusions Tent. The performance will include Charlie Chan and the Mystery of Love, a new work-in-progress that evokes 1930s Hollywood to explore Tinseltown stereotypes and fantasies. The acclaimed work Island which premiered last year will also be performed.
