Hosted by Fred Joiner, curator and host of the American Poetry Museum's Intersections at the Honfleur Gallery and poet-in-residence at Busboys and Poets, Shirlington. This month's features poets are the R Street Collective and PhenmenaDaPoet and is sponsored by Soho Tea & Coffee.

R Street Speaks is a performance ensemble of Duke Ellington School of the Arts. These Literary Media and Communications students write their own words and speak for young people in a way never heard before: from the heart. Thought-provoking and system challenging, R Street Speaks continues to break boundaries of age, and redefines the caliber of spoke word and poetry.
