White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Mona Sutphen will discuss New START, the nuclear weapons treaty recently signed by the United States and Russia. Sutphen will be joined by Ploughshares Fund Project Manager Alexandra Bell and moderator Max Bergmann, Nuclear Non-Proliferation Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress, to talk about the U.S. Senate debate over ratification of the treaty, as well as general issues of nuclear weapons and security.
Refreshments will be served.
