"Arts on N Street" Festival & Arts Market

This August DCCAH and the Convention Center will also be partnering to host a two week Arts Festival along N Street between 7th and 9th Street. The Festival will feature art by local artists, music, fashion and businesses.

Some of my friends who will be participating include Matt Sesow and Dana Ellyn, Albus Cavus, DJ Alex Gold and Danny Jean-Jacques. Click here for a complete list of artists/ vendors that will be displaying their works.

The goal of the entire initiative is to provide spaces for artists and organizations to collaborate and learn from each other, while also offering District Citizens to free and public art. Once vacant windows on N St now display the Portraits of DC exhibit. On M Street between 7th and 9th, The Washington Project for the Arts issued a Call to Artist for their members to exhibit art in the windows bays.
