I Am Happy is a testament to the irrepressible human spirit in the face of social and economic hardship. Four young men and women befriend--among them a graffiti artist, samba musician and maid--people who exhibit a perseverance to create and experience happiness in their lives and daily routines from an unforgiving and judging society.
