Info: Dramatic readings from two stand-out plays: Ibsen’s classic, The Doll’s House, a highly controversial work in its time, and Sea Gull Eaters, the 2008 winner of the Prix Italia, the international theater award, by the contemporary feminist- playwright, Cecilie Løveid. From the 19th century master to the avant-garde of the early 21st century, the questions of how women struggle to overcome the confines of traditional roles still resonate.

An audience-engaging discussion will wind up the reading, followed by a reception.
