Explore the Capitol Riverfront and more with WABA
"Moon Light Ride"
Thursday, September 23rd
Ride starts 8:30pm,
Check-in starts 7:30pm
Free, Please register online here!

You can also attend the 4:35pm ballgame first for just $10!

Join WABA, the Capitol Riverfront BID, and Forest City as they celebrate the full moon and the opening of the brand new Yards Park! The Yards Park is a beautiful new park along the SE Waterfront close to Nationals Stadium, the ride will begin and end there.

At 8:30pm, WABA will lead an 11-mile ride heading west along the Potomac River taking in sights along the way including Hains Point, the Lincoln Memorial, and National Mall. There will be a turn-around point for those wishing to make their ride shorter.

Don't forget that you can take your bike home on Metro or on metro bus at no extra charge at any time so long as it's not rush hour. I personally do this often, bike all day and pop it on the bus or metro when I don't want to bike uphill home.

Join WABA for the Nationals vs Astros game beforehand at 4:35pm, tickets for the game are only $10 and are available on WABA's site! Apparently, they offer free bike valet at the game too. I actually biked over to the stadium last Sunday for the Opera in the Outfield, it was a nice ride! Lots of changes over on M St I got to see on my way there like the really exquisite new Arena Stage building near the Waterfront Metro.

Metro: Navy Yard
