Gallery 102 presents a show in commemoration of Hurricane Sandy, nearly three months after the natural disaster ravished the East Coast. Sandy’s Stories examines the various ways in which Hurricane Sandy assailed the psyche, evoked action and challenged previously held notions and beliefs. The exhibition will feature collage and abstract photography by GW student artist Christie Malvin, installation and performance art by Hirshhorn Museum Interpretive Guides Remina Greenfeld andJanina Anderson, and works by DC-based artists Rachel Farbiarz, Gregg Deal, Jack Labadie, Valeria Caflicsh, Erika Milenkovic, Marie Gauthiez, and J. Ford Huffman.
