Drum Circle in Malcolm X/ Meridian Hill Park
People Watching, Picnics, Acro-Yoga and more
every Sunday weather is nice, afternoon - dark

Every Sunday, this park attracts a whole array of people from all walks of life. It's almost like a mini-festival every Sunday afternoon. The drum circle there is quite amazing! Definitely worth checking out, it's by the Joan of Arc statue on the upper level, pretty easy to spot with the people dancing and drumming. In the grassy area, you'll usually find people practicing acro-yoga, slacklining or practicing some other sport, as you can see in the video. If you prefer a more relaxed vibe, head down to the hilly part near the fountain closer to W St, there is also a flatter area at the bottom where you can hang out.
