Choose from three different Memorials by Moonlight tours, two Haunted themed tours and a neighborhood tour of Dupont Circle. Each walk lasts approximately 2 hours. No need to RSVP in advance, simply show up and look for the Washington Walks guide, who will be easily identifiable, wearing a blue and green Washington Walks badge. Learn more about

Memorials by Moonlight Tours:
7:00pm - 9:00pm
This tour includes visits to the National World War II Memorial, District War Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Abraham Lincoln Memorial. The Washington Monument and Thomas Jefferson Memorial are seen and discussed from a distance. Along the way, your guide sets the scene for the Federal City's original plans to memorialize its national heroes and how they've evolved with time.

statue of Queen Isabella I, which was donated to the OAS by Spain in 1966.

Learn more about the monuments along the Reflecting Pool and interesting facts like: "Had you ventured along the acreage covered on this walk during the Civil War years, you would have found yourself submerged beneath the Potomac River." In this tour you'll see series of major monuments to America's wars in Europe and Asia, evoking the triumph and anguish of warfare.

See the Jefferson Memorial and other memorials as you stroll around this beautiful Tidal Basin, one of DC's most famous man-made bodies of water. See memorials to brilliant leaders and the only First Lady honored on the National Mall featured in a presidential memorial. This tour includes visits to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, George Mason Memorial, Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial plus views of the Washington Monument, U.S. Air Force Memorial and District War Memorial.

Metro: The nearest Metro station to this site is Smithsonian at 12th & Independence Ave SW, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk from there. If you have a bike or Capital Bikeshare access, there is a bikeshare station right by the Jefferson Memorial, it's nice to bike down there too! Dupont Circle is a vibrant, diverse and historic district that has a lot of great character and charm. The tour will start with a look at the “Brewmaster’s Castle,” then it’s on to Dupont Circle itself and then on to explore more buildings in the neighborhood. The walk will conclude at the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market, where you can pick up some great farm fresh fruits, veggies, breads, flowers and more if you like.
