69th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade
Rockville Concert Band and Chorus

The City of Rockville supported all-volunteer band, directed by John Saint Amour, and the Rockville Community Chorus will perform a musical tribute to America before and during the Memorial Day Ceremony.

The ceremony in the plaza at Rockville Town Square includes music by the Rockville Concert Band and the Rockville Chorus, the traditional wreath laying led by American Legion Post 86, and a 21-gun salute and presentation of colors by American Legion Post 86 Color Guard and Rockville City Police Department Honor Guard.

Following the ceremony, the 69th Memorial Day parade kicks off from Martins Lane and North Washington Street, turning left onto Beall Avenue, turning right onto Maryland Avenue through Rockville Town Center and then making a left on East Montgomery Avenue. The parade has something for everyone with drill teams, marching bands, community groups, military units,
multi-cultural groups and more!

Metro: Please Note: The Rockville Metro station will be closed. "Free shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains between Shady Grove and Twinbrook. Shady Grove and Rockville stations will be closed. Riders using shuttle bus service from Shady Grove should allow about 20 minutes of additional travel time. Those boarding at Rockville should allow about 10 minutes of additional travel time."
