You are invited to join the Washington Film Institute (WFI) and the Goethe-Institut of Washington for the third installment of GREEN SCREEN! Part of the Goethe-Institut’s “Climate.Culture.Change” program. Featuring the film "The Age of Stupid" along with three short films. Introduction by Erik Assadourian, Director of the Transforming Cultures Project at the Worldwatch Institute.

Note: The screening will be followed by a wine reception at 8:30pm, for an additional $5 cash at the door, if sufficient interest exists, for those 21 and up.

About the Film: The Age of Stupid (U.K., 2009, DVD, 92 min., Director: Franny Armstrong) "This unsparing look at the development of humanity against the background of global catastrophe poses the question: Why did we not prevent our doom while we still had the chance to do so?"
